Tetapi Barcelona sedang mengalamii masalah besar jelang El Clasico. Soalnya, El Clasico hanya tersisa sekitar empat hari lagi. Jika pemain berusia 27 tahun itu absen, bakal menambah penderitaan Enrique. Alba merupakan pemain reguler Barcelona. Dia selalu jadi pilihan utama dan mampu tampil bagus. Ketangguhannya terlihat ketika mencegah Madrid mencetak gol kala Barcelona menang 4-0, di El Clasico sebelumnya. Parahnya lagi Adriano Correia juga mengalami masalah otot. Dia ikut diragukan tampil meladeni Madrid.

iPhone encryption: Apple gears up for the big fight with FBI

LOS ANGELES: The US government and Apple will face off in court on Tuesday in a closely-watched case that could have wide-reaching implications on digital security and privacy.
The crucial hearing before a federal judge in Southern California focuses on the battle between the tech giant and federal investigators who want help from Apple to unlock an iPhone linked to one of the shooters in the December terror attack in San Bernardino, California.
"It's a fight over the future of high-tech surveillance, the trust infrastructure undergirding the global software ecosystem, and how far technology companies and software developers can be conscripted as unwilling suppliers of hacking tools for governments," wrote Julian Sanchez, a surveillance law expert at the libertarian Cato Institute in Washington.
"It's also the public face of a conflict that will undoubtedly be continued in secret, and is likely already well underway."

Apple, backed by a broad coalition of technology giants like Google, Facebook and Yahoo, argues that the FBI is seeking a "back door" into all iPhones as part of the probe into the December 2 massacre that left 14 people dead.
It also contends that the government is overstepping legal bounds by using a statute called the All Writs Act, which dates back to 1789, in order to force Apple to hack into the iPhone in question.
The company says that in deciding the case, the court must take into account the "broader context" which touches on the larger debate over data privacy.
'Narrow, targeted order'
The government has fired back, saying that Apple was not above the law and that its request for technical assistance concerns a single case -- the Apple iPhone 5C, which was shooter Syed Farook's work phone from the San Bernardino health department.
Both Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik died in a firefight with police after the attack. Two other phones linked to the couple were found destroyed.
"It is a narrow, targeted order... The government and the community need to know what is on the terrorist's phone, and the government needs Apple's assistance to find out," justice department lawyers wrote in their brief to the court.
Each side in the case has dug in its heels, exchanging a volley of legal briefs, with the outcome being watched closely across the globe.
Tech companies, security experts and civil rights advocates say the issue is not so much about one iPhone as it is about setting a precedent that would open the door to companies being forced to hand over customer data.
"This is very much not a case about this particular phone," Sanchez told AFP.

"The concern is about what happens next when it's established as a legal principle that the government cannot just require companies to turn over information they have -- which they have been doing for a long time -- but can require companies to write new software to in fact break their own security measures."
He said that would essentially amount to the government being handed a "master key" to devices.
"We are not just talking about risks to privacy, we are talking about the keys to things that serve essential security functions ... and it's an awfully dangerous thing to have start happening."
Also in question is whether Apple encryption engineers would abide by a court order to help the government unlock Farook's iPhone.
The New York Times, citing more than half-dozen current and former Apple employees, said some may refuse to abide by a court order and others could even quit the company rather than undermine the security of the software they created.
Experts also say that the likelihood of any significant information being found on the iPhone is slim given that it was Farook's work phone and that he and his wife apparently destroyed two other phones found after the attack.
"The odds that there are going to be things on this phone that are useful is extremely slim," Sanchez said. "The odds that this kicks off a wave of extremely troubling demands that undermine the kind of network of trust and developer updates is very high."
Tuesday's hearing is expected to last some three hours, with each side presenting arguments and witnesses. A ruling is not expected the same day.
Any decision is also likely to be appealed and could go all the way to the Supreme Court, meaning the case could drag on, published by TOI.

Facebook to become world's biggest virtual graveyard by 2098

If you are bogged down by notifications sent by the known but deceased people in your timeline on Facebook, do not get surprised by this news.
According to researchers, the social networking giant will become the world's biggest virtual graveyard by the end of this century as there will be more profiles of dead people than of living users.
"Social media website FACEBOOK, which currently has 1.5 billion users worldwide, will turn into the world's biggest virtual graveyard by 2098," Dailymail.co.uk quoted statistician Hachem Sadikki from University of Massachusetts as saying.
This will happen because the website refuses to delete dead users and instead turns the account into a "memorialized" version.

FACEBOOK's refusal to automatically delete dead users and the plateauing membership of the site means that the living will be outnumbered sooner than you might think," the report said.

Sadikki, Ph.D. candidate in statistics at University of Massachusetts, said he worked out the figure by assuming that Facebook's growth will begin to slow soon.

A blogging company Digital Beyond has claimed that nearly 9,70,000 FACEBOOK users will die this year alone across the world which is far more as compared to 3,85,968 in 2010 and 5,80,000 in 2012.

Sadikki also assumed that the social media website will retain its existing policy on how to handle dead users.
The website's policy has attracted criticism from users in the past as it showed the photos of dead ones in its "year in review" videos (till 2015.) Facebook users have also complained about receiving the birthday alerts of dead users.

FACEBOOK has tried to solve this problem by asking users to appoint a "Legacy Contact" before they die.

The "Legacy Contact" is able to administer the page after a user passes away by writing one last post and even approving new friend requests. The contact can even update cover and profile photo.
According to the report, Facebook declined to comment. Published by 'TOI'

Google tweaks 'right to be forgotten' in Europe searches

From WASHINGTON Google said Friday it would implement changes in how it applies the so-called 'right to be forgotten' for online searches made in Europe.
The changes, to be implemented next week, would close a loophole that allowed Europeans to find deleted entries by using Google.com instead of the search page for their local country.
"Starting next week, in addition to our existing practice, we will also use geolocation signals (like IP addresses) to restrict access to the delisted URL on all Google Search domains, including Google.com, when accessed from the country of the person requesting the removal," said a blog post from Google's global privacy counsel Peter Fleischer.
"We'll apply the change retrospectively, to all delistings that we have already done under the European Court ruling."
A European Court of Justice ruling in May 2014 recognizing the 'right to be forgotten' opened the door for Google users to ask the search engine to remove results about them that are inaccurate or no longer relevant.
Google set up an online form that people in Europe can fill out to ask for information to be excluded from search results.
Now a part of the holding company Alphabet under a reorganization, Google's moves failed to satisfy some regulators, notably in France, because the users could get around the restriction.
Google has not changed search results in other areas such as the United States.
Up to now, Google had been deleting certain results from searches made on google.de, google.fr, google.co.uk and other domains within Europe.
"We're changing our approach as a result of specific discussions that we've had with EU data protection regulators in recent months," Fleischer said.
"We believe that this additional layer of delisting enables us to provide the enhanced protections that European regulators ask us for, while also upholding the rights of people in other countries to access lawfully published information."
Danny Sullivan, editor of the Search Engine Land blog, said the new practice is more complex but still could have loopholes.
"It's worldwide censorship for those within the country where the request was granted, in the sense that no matter what edition of Google they use, the removed listings will not show for the terms involved," Sullivan said in a blog post.
"Outside the EU, none of the censorship will be in place -- so it's not worldwide when considered that way. This will also be the case for anyone within the EU who manages to disguise their location, such as someone using a VPN."
In its most recent update last November, Google said it had complied with less than half of the 348,000 request to remove content in Europe. The largest number of requests came from France, with more than 73,000, followed by Germany with some 60,000.
Similar processes have been put in place by Microsoft's Bing search engine that also powers queries at Yahoo, published by 'TOI'

Google launched a new tool to let presidential candidates publish posts about their views directly to Google search results

Earlier this year, Google launched a new tool to let presidential candidates publish posts about their views directly to Google search results, like this:
Now, the company is extending the feature to the commercial realm and offering it to a select group of small businesses. Google is calling the Posts tool "an experimental new podium on Google" and says it plans to make it available to "other prominent figures and organisations."
The new tool is not ad, as Google is not currently charging businesses for the privilege. Of course, that could change in the future.
"This is an experimental search feature we are testing, but it is not tied to Google+," a spokesperson tells Business Insider. "We are currently experimenting with presidential candidates and just started with some SMBs for a select pilot period."
The small business aspect was first spotted by search expert Mike Blumenthal, who spotted a Posts page for a jewelry store while searching "engagement rings Buffalo":

This tool could be a boon businesses trying to attract attention and a potential revenue stream for Google, which could eventually charge brands for their content.
It's interesting that Google is experimenting with this tool completely separate from Google+, which also allows brands to publish content, published by 'TOI'.

Facebook launched the Facebook All Research Partnership Program

On 25th of February in Berlin, Facebook launched the Facebook All Research Partnership Program -- a new effort to support artificial intelligence research at universities using state of the art computing hardware, software and expertise provided by Facebook.
AI is one of the technologies that Mr. Zuckerberg was most excited about. Building machines that can learn the way humans do will let us create new tools to dramatically enhance humanitys potential. AI will save lives by diagnosing diseases, making cars safer, and unlocking new insights about our planet and universe.
Facebook's first collaboration through the FAIR Partnership Program is with Professor Klaus-Robert Mller at TU Berlin. His laboratory is using AI to analyse medical scans to extend our understanding of breast cancer. Facebook is going to provide 32 GPUs in four state of the art servers to TU Berlin that will allow this research to go faster. In total Facebook plan to provide 200 GPUs to research institutions across the EU.
All of the research carried out through FAIR is shared openly with the rest of the global scientific community, so the data and insights Facebook uncover through this partnership will move the entire AI field forward. Facebook is excited to invest in pioneering German and European research that can improve all our lives. Heres a photo of Mr. Mark Zuckerberg with Mr. Yann LeCun, who leads Facebook AI Research, at Facebook's announcement day.
